Style Session: Not-Too-Dressy-Not-Too-Casual Looks

Ok, so have you ever had the dilemma where you want to dress casual, but not too casual, but at the same time, not too dressy. It seems I always miss the dress code when I go out…it’s over the top, or not enough. All the while, a time consuming process. Well, because we don’t want you running late, here are some easy looks we put together for those ‘not-too-dressy-not-too-casual’ occasions.

Skinny Denim.

Denim is versatile, so the looks can be endless. For this look, you only need two pieces of clothing. Pair your skinny denim with a body suit, and dress it up. For the season, wear with a bold color heel, and an eye-catching handbag to match. Have fun w/ your accessories, be we recommend a choker if you want to keep it on trend.

Denim Dress.

Lightweight denim dresses are the perfect opportunity to add color to your look. For this look we went with orange, but yellow or red will work just as well. You can choose to go bold with your footwork, but to keep our look chic; we just went with a rope heel sandal.

Not in the mood for heels, throw on some fringed flats or some white chucks.

Polka Dots.

Polka dots are an easy look for summer because you can usually pair with anything. Yes, bold tops, or even patterned tops such as floral be great to add to polka dot shorts. Since we’re going for an easy look we didn’t want to overcomplicate so we simply paired with a low heel, and a shoulder bag. This look would just be as great with a cute pair of loafers.
