Boujee Bittie: The Ultimatum Fashion Show

Team BTT was on site for the highly anticipated Ultimatum Fashion Show that was held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Columbus State University where 100+ attendees gathered to see the work of the ladies behind the breakout brand, Boujee Bittie. The show feature five fashion filled sets. Denim Days was an ode to the many ways denim can be worn dressed up and down. Vanity Closet featured hot vintage pieces and was most creative in the area of styling. It showcased bright colors and chunky patterns from the 70’s and beyond. My favorite would have to the Boujee Bittie set which featured clothing from the brand’s up and coming boutique. The clothing was trendy and uber chic. Other sets featured designers and boutiques, like popular brand Haute Stylez, from the surrounding area.
Fashion was key but a live performance from musician Frankie Mincey was an unexpected surprised. The young crooner played his acoustic guitar while belting out a mash up of sexy hits. The show was hosted by the Ayana Rome, a popular host around CSU, who introduced her equally popular co-hosts Brandon Todd and Shawn Padonu mid show. Other surprises included were an impromptu audience runway show where few attendees were pulled on stage to strut their stuff. Towards the end of the show the Jasmine Brooks and Kishia Farley, the ladies behind Boujee Bittie, took to the stage to give away three model awards in which Destiny Elliot was named “Model MVP” and Shaterah Evans “Most Improved”. Other noteworthy participants were Latisa Holland on hair and Sineca Butler and Natashia Bolden on makeup.
Overall the show was one to remember and we are looking forward to see what Bougee Bittie has in store. Be sure to follow them on IG @boujeebittie!
