Q: How did you get into the fashion/beauty industry?

A: I have always wanted to do something involved in fashion. When I was younger, it started off as wanting to be a fashion designer. When I got older, I figured I wanted to really know business as fashion is one of those industries where experience is the bigger factor and not the degree. Many designers are self taught. Throughout college, I did a lot of thrifting which is when I think I really came into my own style. When I graduated, I got a job in corporate America and blogging became my outlet for relaxing. Little by little, it grew and one blog turned into three. I also began styling others.

Q: What inspires your style?

A: I honestly don't think I have one thing that inspires me. I can say that I really like color and I love bold prints but that is about it. Honestly if I like it, I wear it.

Q: What advice would you give to someone trying to get his or her foot in the door?

A: I think my best advice to give would be to just go for it. I never had a plan to do anything that I am doing. Everything has been on a whim and a prayer. I have an idea, then I jump. Always follow your heart.

Q: What projects are you working on (that you can share)?

A: Im going to keep all of my upcoming projects a surprise but I will say the biggest thing right now is expanding my personal brand and making sure it is associated with all I do and my multiple blogs.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A: In 5 years, I want to be only doing what I love. I don't have an order in which I want it to happen, I just know I will get there. All fashion, all the time.
