We all do it from time to time, but some of us are worst than others. Procrastination is the cousin of failure and in alot of cases can cause us to never start or finish great things that lay ahead of us and can lead to us fulfilling our purpose and living the life that was made just for us.
First in order to end procrastination in your life, you have to determine what makes you procrastinate in the first place. For different people it can be many different things like complacency, not liking to be out your comfort zone, fear of failure or success. 1. Share your journey - There is nothing like having other people that will hold you accountable. If you are trying to lose 10 lbs , grab a gym buddy and go do it. If the person is reliable and supportive then that should help you in being proactive in getting a head start in the right direction.
2. Pace yourself - Instead of looking at the entire task as one big mountain to climb, break it up, prioritize, and give yourself some smaller hurdles to jump and to also celebrate as you complete your task.
3. Get inspired - Never forget the reason you want to start. If you have lost your motivation or you just can't seem to carve out the time to get going, revisit the reason that you wanted to do it in the first place.
