Q: How did you get into the fashion/beauty industry?
A: I got into the fashion/beauty industry pretty much by word of mouth, which was aa tremendous blessing. I had a friend that believed in me and my abilities to style and do makeup and they put the word out there and I started building my clientele from there.
Q:What inspires your style?
A: My style inspiration comes from either reading fashion magazines ( Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire) or just from the people around me.
Q: What advice would you give to someone trying to get his or her foot in the door?
A: The best advice that I would give someone would be to always put God first, stay focus, remain humble and even if someone tells you No, never let that discourage you..keep moving and continue to work towards your dream.
Q: What projects are you working on (that you can share)?
A:I’m currently on a few makeover reveal projects with my partner for our new business Style Beat and I’m also getting back into blogging and revamping my StyleMavRic blog.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: In 5 years I see myself persuing StyleMavRic full-time working on building the Style Beat brand with my cousin and possibily dabbling more into photography since its something that I really enjoy doing.
