Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We could not overlook today, as it should be a day of reflection and planning. Reflecting on Dr. King stood for and all the sacrifices he made for everyone to live in a country together in peace. And planning, on how each one of us can move on his promise and continue his legacy. As young people, it is very important that we not just celebrate this day off from school and work, but really put some thought into all that this great man did for us. I always sit back and think about what if I was born just 20 or 30 years earlier. and how my life would be so different. We are so fortunate to be free in our choices to love and befriend whomever we choose and a great part of that it due to Dr. King so today we celebrate him!
